In 2008, the founding family re-entered the aluminium and non-ferrous metal distribution market, opening 2 branches, one in Vailate (CR) and one in Falconara Marittima (AN), investing in machinery and structuring a national network of agents.

The 1990s were characterised by major investments and continuous growth. The opening of 3 new branches in northern and central Italy contributed to further expanding of the Cometal presence throughout the country and important partnership with a Swiss multinational made it the first company in Italy to produce milled aluminium plates. A further national record was achieved with the installation of a high-pressure water cutting machine.

Initially operating in the industrial burner sector, the company later dedicated itself to the sale of various types of semi-finished products, to satisfy the demand of the numerous metalworking companies in the area.
